Dr Kym Le was born in Melbourne, grew up in Sydney and studied at the University of Adelaide, graduating in 2016. Dr Le knew she wanted to be a dentist from a very early age, having seen first-hand the consequences of poor dental care, particularly amongst the disadvantaged. One of the things she most enjoys about being a dentist is having the ability to positively impact a person’s smile and confidence.
Dr Le is interested in all aspects of dentistry and especially orthodontics having experienced the benefits of orthodontic care herself. She loves treating children, providing preventative care and helping to reinforce good oral hygiene habits. Dr Le regularly attends courses and lectures on a wide variety of topics. She is particularly interested in endodontics and is a member of the Australian Society of Endodontology. Dr Le has volunteered with the Royal Flying Doctors, providing essential dental care area to remote areas. She also provides dental care to the homeless and participates in numerous volunteering events each year.
In her spare time, Dr Le enjoy swimming and walking long distances and she always embraces experiences that take her outside of her comfort zone, whether that’s travelling off the beaten track or tasting strange foods from around the world.
