Get Crafty with Your Family This Easter
Easter isn’t just about the chocolate as it’s a great opportunity to spend quality time with your kids. Why not make a new family tradition where you get together to make some fun Easter baskets? The Internet is packed with ideas for DIY Easter baskets, and they need only cost a few dollars to make.
Look around your house to find existing baskets or create your own out of felt. Alternatively, cover a cardboard box with faux moss and decorate it with artificial flowers. Another easy idea is to use heavy scrapbooking paper and to weave your own basket. Smaller carrot-shaped cones can be created using orange paper and can be filled with green paper ‘grass’ and a selection of treats. These can all make excellent and thoughtful gifts for friends and family. Doing crafts is a great way to spark imagination and creativity in children, and in adults too!
