Modern dentistry is in a constant state of innovation, in both dental technology and procedures. At Happy Rock Dental we choose to invest in the most up-to-date technology available, to ensure top quality dental care for our patients.
CEREC is a sophisticated CAD/CAM system for the production of all ceramic inlays, onlays, partial crowns, veneers and crowns for anterior and posterior teeth.
The CEREC procedure was developed at Zurich University and has been successfully deployed in dental practices since 1985 – i.e for more than 25 years.
These ceramic restorations can be created and placed during a single appointment, with no impressions or temporary needed.
To help us get an accurate look inside your mouth, our small intraoral digital camera helps us to easily and comfortably inspect your mouth at your regular check-ups, diagnosing fractures the naked eye would never have seen.
Emitting only 5 of the radiation of conventional x-rays, our digital x-ray machine’s output can be viewed instantly on our computer monitors.
Our in-house Orthopantomograph (OPG) machine is a sophisticated x-ray machine that can provide a complete radiograph of your teeth, upper and lower jawbones and air sinuses.
Laser dentistry uses advanced technology, combining laser energy and a spray of water, to perform a wide range of dental procedures on teeth, gum and bone more comfortably and quicker. Our Waterlase laser is designed to perform special dental functions without damaging the surrounding tissues, which means much less pain than traditional methods.
Helping us find decay the easy way, the DIAGNOdent pen uses a type laser diode to inspect your teeth, diagnosing areas of decay that require filling. With DIAGOdent technology we can catch more areas of decay sooner, with more precision.
